After Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree at Albright College of Reading, Pennsylvania, he completed his paramedic training. Subsequently, he provided 13 years of service for the City of San Francisco's emergency medical services-- where he received the Paramedic of the Year award in 1991. Their roles within dermatology are diverse. PA's may diagnose, and treat diseases of the skin and perform surgical treatments as well. Brian maintains his medical and surgical skill through close association with Dr. Kraffert, in addition to his affiliation with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants. Completing greater than 50 hours of continuing medical education annually and re-certification every six years by passing the written re certification exam, insures Brian's fund of medical knowledge is up-to-date
In his leisure time Brian and his wife, Peggy, enjoy exploring the great outdoors of the Redding area. When he is not busy chasing his two Jack Russell terriers,
Brian plays tennis and is training to acquire his private pilot's license.
